Festivals

Fund Raisers
Whether yours is a silent auction, an outdoor festival or a dinner-dance, the staff at Custom Music would be happy to f assist you in finding the right entertainment for your fund raiser. Among the many concerns for which it has provided talent are the Juvenile Diabetic Association, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Community Health Services, Carolinas Medical Center, Mercy Hospital and the Greenville Disabilities Foundation.  

Concerts

Along with Big Bands, Beach Bands, and Variety bands that perform concerts throughout the southeast, Custom Music features two shows that are based in the Carolinas and perform nationally.  They are the Southern Fried Jazz Band and The Swingin’ Years.

Southern Fried Jazz Band
The Southern Fried Jazz Band is a high-energy Dixieland band that offers a freshness and excitement that never fails to “WOW” its audience.   Composed of seasoned performers, each show blends music with narration and personal anecdotes into a seamless history lesson of early jazz in America.  Its appeal is universal, cutting across all ages, tastes and backgrounds.

The Swingin’ Years
Come take a stroll down memory land through music that helped America forget her troubles from the Great Depression of the ‘30’s through the post-war years of the ‘40’s.  Referred to as the Big Band Era, this period has been captured in all its glory in an exciting, well-paced review called The Swingin’ Years.  Time-proven hits and theme songs of the great big bands, their leaders and singers are recaptured, live and on stage, in a way that will both thrill and delight you!
